Bastian Balthazar Bux

Bastian Balthazar Bux is a 12 year-old boy who is described as being overweight and wears glasses. He is bullied by his peers and very lonely, but also very kind and imaginative. He was neglected by his father, who mourned over the death of his wife, so to keep from being alone he read the book called The Neverending Story.
