Vooshvazool is a Night Hob who appears in Michael Ende's novel The Neverending Story.
Novel[]
Vooshvazool appears in Chapter 1 of the novel.
He is sent as a messenger to the Ivory Tower by the Night Hobs to report the Nothing to the Childlike Empress, and quickly makes friends with the Rock Biter and Teeny Weeny.
Films[]
The NeverEnding Story (1984)[]
In the first film, the Night Hob is portrayed by Tilo Prückner.
He frequently asks if people are "nutcases", and rides a diurnal bat whom he calls "stupid" for sleeping at night.
Trivia[]
- Originally, it was intended to include his novel design in the first film, using practical effects, however, the result was a disaster, looking like "a giant sausage".
